About Us
We are a Hong Kong-based startup who are unsatisfied with current tissue diagnostics.
We challenge ourselves to develop pragmatic new technologies to surpass existing diagnostics limits and improve patient outcomes.
Our Mission
We develop 3D tissue diagnostics to assess the breadths and depths of tissue samples from biopsies and surgeries. The data is quantitative and accurate, allowing us to find the best drug options for the patients.
In contrast, current tissue diagnostics is limited to 2D, a flat and limited view causing inaccurate quantification and missed features. >50% cancer therapy fails if there is no accurate test to guide treatment, which is worse than a coin flip.
Our Tech
Developing 3D diagnostics is not trivial, requiring precise control of protein and light movements across tissue samples without damage and the analysis of massive image datasets.
Our platform quantifies multiple protein biomarkers across millions of cells in intact 3D tissue, preserving spatial relationships. This is achieved through advanced chemical staining, tissue clearing, and imaging with custom laser microscopes.
Latest Milestone
To date, we can reliably analyze 5mm tissue blocks in 3D H&E staining within 24 hours. Immunostaining with 4 biomarkers per round can be achieved in a day per millimeter of tissue. Our platform is compatible with fixed and wax-embedded specimens, and the process requires no specialized equipment and preserves tissue at the molecular level.
